Apple Home Collection: Every Accessory and Price

Cameras, a smart lock and two thermostats, built by LG and Schneider Electric and sold by Apple.

Apple Home Collection

The Apple Home Collection is a 12-piece accessory line sold by Apple but built by LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. Prices run from $14.95 for a trim plate to $399.95 for a floodlight camera.

It is the hardware Apple’s new home hub was designed to control, and most of it arrives in December.

Twelve Accessories From Two Manufacturers

Apple is not manufacturing any of this. LG builds the cameras, the doorbell, the deadbolt and one of the thermostats. Schneider Electric builds the second thermostat and its room sensor.

Everything is set up and controlled through the Home app rather than a manufacturer app, which is the point of the exercise. Matter accessories from other brands keep working alongside them.

ADT will install HomeView in US homes for an extra charge, booked through Apple Retail. The deadbolt is the piece most people will look at first, and as a smart lock it handles both keypad entry and phone unlocking.

When the Apple Home Collection Ships

Most of the line arrives in December. Some accessories are held back to early 2027, and Apple has not said which ones.

The last three items in the price list are thermostat fitting parts sold separately, so budget for one if you are replacing an older unit without a C-wire.

  • December: most of the collection
  • Early 2027: a subset of accessories, not yet named
  • Cheapest piece: $14.95 trim plate
  • Dearest piece: $399.95 floodlight camera

Is the Apple Home Collection Worth Waiting For?

The appeal is not the hardware, which looks comparable to what LG and Schneider already sell. It is that setup and control happen in one app, with Apple’s privacy handling, instead of four manufacturer accounts.

Prices are at the top of the market, so this is a convenience purchase rather than a value one. If you are assembling a system, the Apple HomeView is the screen that controls it and the HomePod mini 2 is the cheapest way to add voice to a room.

  • Buy it if: you want one app and one account for the whole house
  • Shop around if: price matters more than integration
  • Note: thermostats may need a separately sold C-wire adapter at $24.95
