Fortnite OG skins are the outfits from Chapter 1 Season 1 and Season 2, sold between October 2017 and February 2018. There are 54 of them here, counting the country versions of Alpine Ace and Mogul Master once each, with the month each arrived, its rarity and how to get it today.
Most are still ordinary Item Shop outfits that come back from time to time, priced from 800 to 2,000 V-Bucks. Five have never been sold again: the four Season 2 Battle Pass knights and Blue Team Leader, a PlayStation Plus pack outfit. Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper, the original Season Shop skins, have returned twice through the OG Season Shop.

Which OG Skins Can You Still Get?
Of the 54 OG outfits, 46 still come back through the regular Item Shop. The rest fall into three groups:
- OG Season Shop: Renegade Raider (after earning 1,500,000 XP) and Aerial Assault Trooper (after 1,000,000 XP), 1,200 V-Bucks each. The shop ran from 20 December 2024 to 30 January 2025 and again from 20 December 2025 to 31 January 2026.
- Real-money pack: Codename E.L.F. is sold only in the $22.99 Polar Legends Pack.
- Never sold again: Black Knight, Sparkle Specialist, Royale Knight and Blue Squire from the Season 2 Battle Pass, and Blue Team Leader from PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack 1.
The never-sold five are some of the rarest outfits in the game, and our list of the rarest Fortnite skins covers them alongside later exclusives. Sparkle Specialist also went to the top 100 entries in the Season 3 Boogie Down contest, and the Boogie Down emote is now a reward for turning on Fortnite 2FA.
What OG Skins Cost in the Item Shop
OG Item Shop outfits sell for 800 to 2,000 V-Bucks on their own: 18 at 1,200, 14 at 800, eight at 1,500 and six at 2,000. Several also appear in newer bundles, such as the Skull Trooper Bundle for 2,300 V-Bucks or creator locker bundles that include Recon Expert and Munitions Expert.

Is Black Knight an OG skin?
Yes. Black Knight was the Tier 70 reward in the Season 2 Battle Pass, released on 14 December 2017, and it has never been sold in the Item Shop.
