Fortnite wraps are the game’s gun skins: a cosmetic that changes how your weapons and vehicles look without changing how they perform. They arrived in Chapter 1 Season 7, which began on 6 December 2018, and this guide covers how they work plus 18 of the hardest wraps to get.
Most wraps rotate through the Item Shop, and at least 654 have been sold there since 2018. The rarest ones were handed out through promotions, PlayStation Plus packs, Arena and quest rewards, or had a single short run in the shop years ago.

How Fortnite Wraps Work
A wrap is a paint job for your gear. Once you equip one, any weapon you pick up or vehicle you drive takes on that design for as long as you are using it. Wraps are purely cosmetic, so they give no gameplay advantage.
- Where to equip them: the Wraps section of your Locker, alongside your Outfit, Back Bling and other items.
- Where they work: Battle Royale, Save the World and Creative.
- How you get them: the Item Shop, on their own or inside bundles, plus Battle Pass pages, quests and limited promotions.
Wraps often come in bundles with a matching outfit. Goosebumps, for example, was sold alongside the Travis Scott outfit in April 2020, and both appear in our list of the rarest Fortnite skins.

2. Radiant Blue
Released: 17 September 2019 (Chapter 1 Season X)
How to get: PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack 7
Rarity: Epic
It came with a PlayStation Plus subscription through one of the Celebration Packs, and it is one of the few Epic-rarity wraps.
3. Point Patrol
Released: 18 September 2020 (Chapter 2 Season 4)

4. Rainbow Fog
Released: 20 November 2020 (Chapter 2 Season 4)
How to get: Free for linking an Epic Games account to Houseparty

Houseparty was a video chat service that Epic Games bought in 2019, and linking the two accounts unlocked this wrap.
5. Cobalt Overdrive
Released: 17 March 2021 (Chapter 2 Season 6)

Arena handed out a wrap for every Contender and Champion League division in Chapter 3 Season 4 and Chapter 4 Season 1, from Contender I up to Champion III, which was the top tier.

These wraps were in the Item Shop at some point but have not returned in years. Frosty Visions and Chipset were last sold in late December 2022.

It was part of Epic’s International Women’s Day 2022 set, cost nothing during its one-week run, and has not been offered since.

Which Fortnite Wraps Sell in the Item Shop
At least 654 wraps have been sold in the Item Shop as of 25 September 2026. Most are ordinary designs: 336 of them are Rare and 204 Uncommon. Collab wraps carry the same series labels as outfits:
- Icon Series: 46 wraps
- Marvel Series: 25 wraps
- Star Wars Series: 18 wraps
- Gaming Legends Series: 14 wraps
- DC Series: 3 wraps
The pace has picked up. 2025 was the biggest year yet for new shop wraps, with 118 sold for the first time, against 103 in 2019, the first full year of wraps.
How to Get Wraps in Fortnite Now
New wraps reach the Item Shop regularly, usually on their own for a few hundred V-Bucks or bundled with a matching outfit. Battle Passes add more each season, and quest lines sometimes hand out free ones.
