The most popular Roblox games are not the ones with the biggest lifetime totals. They are the handful of experiences holding hundreds of thousands of people at the same minute, and that set changes faster on Roblox than on any other platform. The ten below were the ten highest live player counts on Roblox on October 8, 2026, at 06:34 UTC, and between them they held 2,159,380 players.

Four of them did not exist two years ago. One of them did not exist three months ago and now holds more players than the rest of this list combined. Every entry has the number of players in it at that moment, its lifetime visits, its like ratio, how many people share a server and a direct link to the game. Player counts move by the hour, so treat the numbers as the shape of the chart rather than a fixed scoreboard.

10 Fish It! Fishing collection game 72,960 20 82.8% 4.77 billion

Scale is worth a sentence of context. Roblox Corporation reported an average of 123 million daily active users for the three months to June 30, 2026 in its quarterly report for that period, with 82% of them outside the United States. The same report puts 51% of in-game hours in the top 50 games, so a chart like this one accounts for a large share of everything played on the platform.

1. Steal An Egg (Pet stealing tycoon): 1,198,086 playing

Image: Roblox

Players right now: 1,198,086 · Lifetime visits: 7.17 billion · Likes: 92.2% · Players per server: 7 · Released: July 25, 2026 · Creator: and Collect Rare Pets

Steal An Egg opened on July 25, 2026 and has taken 7.17 billion visits since, which is more traffic in ten weeks than most Roblox games collect in a decade. The loop is tiny: you grab eggs from the pets on other players bases, run them back to your own base, hatch them and let the hatched pets print cash while you train on a treadmill to get fast enough to steal the next tier.

Servers hold only seven players, so the theft is personal rather than anonymous, and a round of it fits into a few minutes. That combination is what carries it on short-form video: every successful steal is a clip, and every failed one is a funnier clip. Roughly 92.2% of its votes are likes.

2. Brookhaven RP (Town roleplay): 172,700 playing

Players right now: 172,700 · Lifetime visits: 88.3 billion · Likes: 85.9% · Players per server: 30 · Released: April 21, 2020 · Creator: Brookhaven by Voldex

Brookhaven RP is the quietest game on this list and the largest by any lifetime measure. It has 88.3 billion visits and 30.4 million favourites, and it has no objective at all: you pick a house, pick a vehicle and act out whatever story the server agrees on, with up to 30 people in the town at once.

Voldex bought the game from its original creator and now ships named updates to it, with the current one adding a military base house, two military vehicles and a set of props. Private servers hand over the controls roleplayers actually argue about, including locking props, setting the time of day and the weather, and making other players admins.

3. Adopt Me! (Pet raising and trading): 132,573 playing

Players right now: 132,573 · Lifetime visits: 45.0 billion · Likes: 86.3% · Players per server: 35 · Released: July 14, 2017 · Creator: Uplift Games

Adopt Me! has been running since July 2017 and remains the trading game on Roblox. You hatch pets from eggs, age them from newborn to full grown, decorate a house and swap the results with other players, and the value of a legendary pet is set by nothing more than what the player base agrees it is worth.

Uplift Games keeps it on a seasonal calendar, and the current Halloween run adds a Ghost Gallery, a Jumpscare pet at the Manor and a Mummy Spider that takes Crypt Keys to claim. Servers take 35 players, the largest capacity in this top ten, which is why trading hubs form inside them.

4. 99 Nights in the Forest (Co-op survival): 127,843 playing

Players right now: 127,843 · Lifetime visits: 29.9 billion · Likes: 90.5% · Players per server: 25 · Released: March 4, 2025 · Creator: Grandma’s Favourite Games

The description for 99 Nights in the Forest is three lines long: build a camp with friends, something is watching you. That is the whole pitch, and it has pulled 29.9 billion visits since March 2025. A team of up to 25 gathers wood and food by day, keeps the fire lit, and deals with what the dark sends at the camp.

It rewards division of labour more than reflexes, so it plays well with a group that talks. Its 90.5% like ratio is the fourth highest here, and it sits alongside the other co-op survival picks in our guide to the best Roblox games to play with friends.

5. Blox Fruits (Anime action RPG): 119,451 playing

Players right now: 119,451 · Lifetime visits: 64.9 billion · Likes: 92.3% · Players per server: 12 · Released: January 16, 2019 · Creator: Gamer Robot Inc

Blox Fruits is the oldest grind on this list and the only one with a level cap in the thousands. You train swords or a Blox Fruit, sail between seas, fight bosses and climb towards the current cap of 3,000, with 42 fruits in the game from Rocket and Spin at the bottom to Kitsune, Control and Dragon at the top.

The recent update added the Magnet fruit and reworked the first sea. Servers are capped at 12, the grind is measured in weeks rather than hours, and most new players start by claiming the free stat resets and double XP from the current Blox Fruits codes.

6. Murder Mystery 2 (Social deduction): 88,147 playing

Players right now: 88,147 · Lifetime visits: 31.1 billion · Likes: 90.8% · Players per server: 12 · Released: January 18, 2014 · Creator: Nikilis

Murder Mystery 2 has been live since January 2014 and still fills 12 player servers. Each round deals one murderer, one sheriff and ten innocents. The murderer has a knife, the sheriff has a gun, and everyone else has to work out who is who before they are next, which makes it the purest social deduction game on the platform.

The knives are the real economy. Players collect and trade hundreds of them, and rare ones hold value across years in a way most Roblox cosmetics do not. The game holds a 90.8% like ratio across 24.4 million favourites.

7. Break and Steal an Egg (Pet stealing tycoon): 87,734 playing

Players right now: 87,734 · Lifetime visits: 40.4 million · Likes: 97.9% · Players per server: 7 · Released: September 5, 2026 · Creator: ILGames x Eggs

Break and Steal an Egg is five weeks old and already holds 87,734 players at once. Its description credits its inspiration outright, and the loop is one step different from the game at the top of this list: you break eggs to hatch the animals yourself, steal them, escape the guards and park them in your base to earn cash, upgrading your pickaxe and your speed as you go.

At 97.9% likes it has the second highest approval rating in this top ten, which is normal for a game new enough that only its early audience has voted. Servers hold seven players and there is an index to fill, which is the hook that keeps people past the first session.

8. Steal a Brainrot (Meme stealing tycoon): 82,013 playing

Image: Roblox

Players right now: 82,013 · Lifetime visits: 73.9 billion · Likes: 85.2% · Players per server: 8 · Released: May 16, 2025 · Creator: BRAZILIAN SPYDER

Steal a Brainrot turned the Italian brainrot meme into a tycoon and took 73.9 billion visits doing it. You buy a brainrot, park it on your plot so it generates money, then raid the other seven players on the server for theirs while they are busy raiding someone else, with slap and troll gear sold specifically to ruin an escape.

It is the most divisive game in this ten, and its 85.2% like ratio is the lowest of the long running entries, mostly because being robbed is as common as robbing. New characters arrive constantly, which is why the Steal a Brainrot codes list changes faster than almost any other game on Roblox.

9. Ride A Pet (Pet hatching and racing): 77,873 playing

Image: Roblox

Players right now: 77,873 · Lifetime visits: 326.9 million · Likes: 96.7% · Players per server: 6 · Released: April 14, 2026 · Creator: this game is gud

Ride A Pet runs on six player servers and asks for almost nothing: find eggs scattered around the map, hatch faster pets, ride them to reach the eggs that are further out, then mutate the pets to go faster still. It launched in April 2026 and has 326.9 million visits.

The appeal is speed as a visible number. Every hatch either makes your mount quicker or it does not, so progress is obvious within seconds rather than hours, and it works on a phone as well as on a desktop.

10. Fish It! (Fishing collection game): 72,960 playing

Players right now: 72,960 · Lifetime visits: 4.77 billion · Likes: 82.8% · Players per server: 20 · Released: October 21, 2024 · Creator: Fish Atelier

Fish It! is a fishing game with a collection problem attached: more than a million variations of fish exist across its islands, and the catching itself is a charge up and a fast click. Twenty players share a server, which makes it the most sociable of the idle style games here.

The current update added boss battles, an alien invasion event, a limited island called Arcadia and an 8-bit mutation. It also names Fisch and Fishing Simulator as its inspirations. Its 82.8% like ratio is the lowest in this ten, which tends to follow any game that leans on limited time events.

What these ten have in common

Read the list as a set rather than ten separate games and the pattern behind the current chart is hard to miss.

  • Seven of the ten put you on a small server. Steal An Egg, Break and Steal an Egg and Ride A Pet cap at six or seven players, so every theft has a name attached to it.
  • Four of the ten are built on the same steal loop, and three of those four launched inside the last eighteen months. A loop that works on Roblox gets cloned within weeks, and the clone often charts.
  • The two oldest games here, Murder Mystery 2 from 2014 and Adopt Me! from 2017, both survive on trading rather than on new content.
  • Every one of the ten was updated by its developer within the last two weeks. None of them is coasting.
  • Like ratios cluster between 82% and 93% for established games. The two outliers above 96% are both less than seven months old.

The other shared trait is distribution. None of these games bought its audience. They spread through clips, through friends joining friends, and through the front page of the Roblox app itself, which is where the company surfaces whatever is climbing. Roblox publishes platform announcements and creator payouts in its newsroom, and the developer exchange programme behind these games had more than 42,000 registered creators as of June 30, 2026.

Which one to open first

Pick by the amount of time and company you have, not by the ranking.

  • You have ten minutes. Steal An Egg or Ride A Pet. Both give you something to show for a single short session, and neither needs a tutorial.
  • You want to play with a group that talks. 99 Nights in the Forest for cooperation, Murder Mystery 2 for argument. One needs a plan, the other needs lies.
  • You want to build a long term account. Blox Fruits or Adopt Me!. Progress in both carries across months and both have an economy other players respect.
  • You want somewhere to hang out rather than compete. Brookhaven RP. Thirty players, a town, no score.
  • You want the game your feed keeps showing you. Steal a Brainrot or Break and Steal an Egg, which are the two currently generating most of the clips.

How to open any of these games safely

All ten are free to play and all ten sell Robux items inside. The only real risk is opening the wrong copy of a popular name.

  1. Open the game link from the list above in a browser, or search the exact name inside the Roblox app.
  2. Check the creator name against the one listed here before you press the green play button. Popular games attract copies with near identical titles and thumbnails.
  3. Press play. Roblox puts you in whichever public server has room, so a friend already in the game will usually not be in yours.
  4. To join a specific person, open their profile, confirm their join setting allows it, then use Join Experience from the profile instead of the game page.
  5. For a guaranteed shared server in Brookhaven RP or Adopt Me!, buy or get invited to a private server, which is bought with Robux on the game page.

If you are funding any of this, Robux bought through a gift card lands in the same balance as a direct purchase, and our guide explains how to redeem a Roblox gift card on the account you actually play on. Free reward codes exist for most of these games as well, including the ones listed for 99 Nights in the Forest.
