Roblox Fighting Games: 10 Best Ranked by Players

Ten Roblox combat games ranked by live player count, each with the style of fighting it actually runs on, its like ratio, server size and the maturity rating Roblox assigns it.

Roblox fighting games split into two things that look alike and play nothing alike: brawlers, where everybody shares one small move set and the skill is in spacing, and character fighters, where every pick has its own specials and learning one teaches you little about the next. The ten below were the ten most played combat experiences on Roblox on October 8, 2026 at 17:35 UTC, holding 257,617 players between them.

Each entry carries the number of players inside it at that moment, how many share a server, the like ratio with the number of votes behind it, and the maturity rating Roblox assigns. The vote count matters more than the percentage: a 97% rating from 20,000 votes is a weaker signal than 86% from three million.

The 10 best Roblox fighting games right now

# Game Style Playing now Per server Likes Maturity
1 Jujutsu Shenanigans Combo fighter 129,333 20 86.2% Mild
2 The Strongest Battlegrounds Battlegrounds brawler 46,161 15 83.8% Mild
3 Blade Ball Timing duel 18,985 16 93.5% Mild
4 Anime Ability Arena Ability arena 16,107 18 88.3% Mild
5 ABA Character fighter 13,520 16 80.7% Mild
6 Ability Arena Ability arena 8,540 20 92.9% Mild
7 untitled boxing game Boxing 7,386 22 87.1% Mild
8 Dueling Grounds Weapon duels 7,044 14 96.4% Moderate
9 Death Ball Timing duel 5,372 25 96.1% Mild
10 Jujutsu: Zero Open world combat 5,169 14 95.3% Mild

Two patterns show up immediately. The top of the list is old: Jujutsu Shenanigans and The Strongest Battlegrounds are both from 2022 and between them hold 26.9 billion visits. The highest rated entries are the newest, which is normal on the platform because a game accumulates negative votes every time it rebalances something.

1. Jujutsu Shenanigans (Combo fighter): 129,333 playing

Image: Roblox

Players right now: 129,333 · Lifetime visits: 7.53 billion · Likes: 86.2% · Players per server: 20 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2022-04-17 · Creator: Tze’s Shenanigans

Nothing else on Roblox is close to this on player count, and the reason is the combat itself. You get a basic melee string on left click, four numbered skills, a dash on Q that doubles as a stun escape, a block on F and an awakening on G. Every character is built from the same small grammar, so the skill gap is entirely in spacing and timing rather than in what you own.

Twenty players share a server and the game has taken 7.53 billion visits since April 2022. The like ratio of 86.2% is the lowest of the top three here, which fits a game that is genuinely hard to start in: the players who stay are the ones who learned to cancel out of a stun. Fresh Jujutsu Shenanigans codes are the fastest way to skip the early grind.

2. The Strongest Battlegrounds (Battlegrounds brawler): 46,161 playing

Players right now: 46,161 · Lifetime visits: 19.37 billion · Likes: 83.8% · Players per server: 15 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2022-08-02 · Creator: Yielding Arts

The battlegrounds format in its purest form: a flat arena, a handful of characters, and a ragdoll physics system that sends people across the map when a combo lands. The controls are deliberately small, with an ultimate on G, a block on F and a dash on Q that also cancels a ragdoll.

At 19.37 billion visits it is the second most visited game in this ten and the template almost every other battlegrounds game copied. Its 83.8% like ratio across 6.35 million votes is the lowest here, which is what happens to a game that stays at the top long enough for every balance change to annoy somebody. Fifteen players per server.

3. Blade Ball (Timing duel): 18,985 playing

Players right now: 18,985 · Lifetime visits: 6.47 billion · Likes: 93.5% · Players per server: 16 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2023-06-17 · Creator: Wiggity.

A homing ball accelerates between players and you have one input that matters: press at the right moment to deflect it, or die. That is the entire game, and it holds 9.05 million votes at a 93.5% ratio, the largest sample of any game on this list.

Abilities layer on top of the timing rather than replacing it, which is why it survived the wave of clones that followed it in 2023. Sixteen players per server and 6.47 billion visits. It is also the easiest game here to explain to somebody who has never played a fighting game, because there is nothing to memorise. Current Blade Ball codes cover spins and currency.

4. Anime Ability Arena (Ability arena): 16,107 playing

Players right now: 16,107 · Lifetime visits: 111 million · Likes: 88.3% · Players per server: 18 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2026-06-26 · Creator: no dj khaled we the best

Four months old and already past 111 million visits. You pick an anime-styled ability set, fight other players, earn Yen for winning and spend it on more characters and movesets. The loop is deliberately short: a fight, a payout, a new moveset to try.

Eighteen players per server and an 88.3% like ratio from 111,365 votes, which is a small sample next to the older entries and worth reading as provisional. It is the most accessible game in this ten for a new player because nothing in it requires combo execution.

5. ABA (Character fighter): 13,520 playing

Players right now: 13,520 · Lifetime visits: 1.35 billion · Likes: 80.7% · Players per server: 16 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2018-02-25 · Creator: Dogs Studios: South

Anime Battle Arena is the oldest game here by four years and the most demanding. Each character is a faithful recreation from its source series with its own specials on the number keys, aerials chained from ground attacks, a dodge on Shift and a block on F. Learning one character does very little for your ability to play another.

That depth costs it: 80.7% likes across 638,703 votes is the weakest ratio on this list, and the usual complaint is balance between characters that were never meant to fight each other. It has 1.35 billion visits and sixteen players per server. Pick it if you want the fighting game, not the brawler.

6. Ability Arena (Ability arena): 8,540 playing

Players right now: 8,540 · Lifetime visits: 100 million · Likes: 92.9% · Players per server: 20 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2026-05-27 · Creator: Banjomeni

The description is the whole pitch: choose an ability and go to the arena. There are 28 ability movesets, and you earn new ones by landing hits rather than by paying, which keeps a new account competitive with an old one within an evening.

A 92.9% ratio across 258,095 votes five months after launch is a strong start, and 100 million visits in that time says the format travels. Twenty players per server. It sits next to Anime Ability Arena in style but is lighter, with less to read on screen during a fight.

7. untitled boxing game (Boxing): 7,386 playing

Players right now: 7,386 · Lifetime visits: 1.46 billion · Likes: 87.1% · Players per server: 22 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2023-06-02 · Creator: drowningsome

One ring, one opponent, and a set of boxing styles you roll for rather than choose. The developers are blunt in the description that every style is viable and rarer does not mean stronger, which is a more honest line than most games with a gacha layer manage.

Twenty-two players per server and 1.46 billion visits since June 2023. The 87.1% ratio across 1.6 million votes is solid for a game whose core loop involves rolling for the thing you want. Untitled Boxing Game codes are published by the developer and are the main source of free spins.

8. Dueling Grounds (Weapon duels): 7,044 playing

Players right now: 7,044 · Lifetime visits: 400 million · Likes: 96.4% · Players per server: 14 · Maturity: Moderate · Released: 2025-10-28 · Creator: Dueling Grounds

The highest rated game on this list with a sample worth trusting: 96.4% across 2.14 million votes. It is a weapon fighter rather than a fist fighter, with light and heavy attacks on the two mouse buttons and a roster of weapons that each change the spacing rather than the damage.

Fourteen players per server, 400 million visits in under a year, and the only entry in the top ten that Roblox rates Maturity: Moderate, which is worth knowing if you are checking it for somebody younger. It plays on console and mobile as well as PC.

9. Death Ball (Timing duel): 5,372 playing

Players right now: 5,372 · Lifetime visits: 1.64 billion · Likes: 96.1% · Players per server: 25 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2023-10-08 · Creator: ⨯ Small World Games

A second deflection game, and the better one if you want a ladder to climb. You deflect an incoming ball, pick a champion, and your rank moves with your results. The ranked structure is the difference from Blade Ball, which is casual by comparison.

96.1% across 3.1 million votes is the second best ratio here on the second largest sample, which is an unusually clean signal. 1.64 billion visits and twenty-five players per server. The developers state that exploiting and farming earn a permanent ban with no appeal, and the matchmaking is noticeably cleaner for it.

10. Jujutsu: Zero (Open world combat): 5,169 playing

Players right now: 5,169 · Lifetime visits: 127 million · Likes: 95.3% · Players per server: 14 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2024-11-04 · Creator: Studio Resonance

The other jujutsu game, and nothing like the first. This is an open world RPG where you roam, find cursed objects, fight spirits and sorcerers and build up techniques over hours rather than rounds. Combat is the point but progression is the structure.

Still labelled a beta after two years, with 127 million visits and a 95.3% ratio from 234,178 votes. Fourteen players per server. Choose it over Jujutsu Shenanigans if you would rather grind a character than learn a combo, and grab the Jujutsu Zero codes before you start.

Five more worth opening

These sit below the top ten on live players and are not far behind on anything else. Two of them are why the battlegrounds format exists at all.

  • Heroes Battlegrounds, by more awesome games yo, 1.75 billion visits. The hero and villain version of the battlegrounds format, with 1.75 billion visits and a roster drawn from superhero archetypes rather than anime.
  • Legends Battlegrounds, by Arts of Vermillion, 510 million visits. Another battlegrounds entry from the same era, lighter than The Strongest Battlegrounds and easier to pick up in an afternoon.
  • Combat Warriors, by PlayCombatWarriors, 1.45 billion visits. The gory one. Melee and ranged weapons with dismemberment, and the only game in this group an adult should look at before handing it to a child.
  • Fruit Battlegrounds, by P O P O, 1.07 billion visits. Devil fruit powers in a battlegrounds arena, which is where One Piece fans go when they want a fight rather than an MMO grind.
  • Anime Fighting Simulator, by Anime Fighting Simulator | BZ, 54 million visits. A training simulator rather than a fighter: you raise stats, then fight. The 98.3% like ratio is the highest in this entire article.

Which one to open first

The genre punishes picking wrong more than most, because the first twenty minutes of a character fighter are mostly losing. Choose by what you want out of the evening.

  • If you have never played one. Blade Ball. One input, instant understanding, and the biggest player base to match into.
  • If you want a real skill ceiling. ABA or Jujutsu Shenanigans. Both take weeks and both reward it.
  • If you want to win tonight. Ability Arena. Movesets come from playing, so a new account is not behind.
  • If you want a ranked ladder. Death Ball. The only entry here with a rank that moves on results.
  • If you are checking for a younger player. Anime Ability Arena or Blade Ball, both rated Mild with no weapon realism.

The conventions here are older than Roblox by decades. Blocks, dashes, cancels and the distinction between light and heavy attacks all come from the arcade fighting game lineage, which is why a player who grew up on those reads these games quickly.

What to check before a younger player starts

Nine of the ten are rated Mild and one is Moderate, but the ratings cover depiction rather than everything a parent might care about.

  • Dueling Grounds is the Moderate one in the top ten, for weapon combat. Combat Warriors, in the list above, is the genuinely graphic entry and shows dismemberment.
  • Several have a gacha layer. Untitled Boxing Game rolls for styles and Jujutsu Shenanigans sells cosmetics. None of them sell power directly, which is unusual for the genre.
  • Server sizes are small. Fourteen to twenty-five players, so chat exposure is limited next to a roleplay game with fifty.
  • Check the maturity label on the page itself. It is set per experience and can change when a game updates.

If a connection error blocks a session rather than the game itself, our guide to Roblox error codes covers which numbers mean a network fault and which mean a ban the developer set.
