Roblox Games You Can Play Alone: 12 Best Picks

Twelve Roblox games where playing solo is the whole experience rather than a compromise, ranked by live player count, with server sizes, like ratios and how long each one holds up.

Most Roblox games you can play alone are technically multiplayer, and the distinction that matters is whether the other people in the server change your game. In the twelve below they do not. Nobody has to show up, nothing waits on a second player, and the progress is entirely yours. They held 376,660 players between them on October 8, 2026 at 17:35 UTC.

Server size is the quickest tell. Four to six players, as in Grow a Garden and the tycoons, means a private plot. Twenty or fifty, as in Fisch or DOORS, means other people are present but irrelevant. Each entry below lists that number alongside the live player count, the like ratio with its vote total, and the maturity rating Roblox assigns.

The 12 best Roblox games you can play alone

# Game Type Playing now Per server Likes Maturity
1 Fish It! Collection grind 75,343 20 82.8% Minimal
2 Fisch Fishing RPG 63,884 20 90.8% Minimal
3 DOORS Horror run 58,627 50 93.0% Mild
4 Tower of Hell Obby 46,887 20 73.6% Minimal
5 Sol’s RNG Luck grind 32,753 20 91.4% Minimal
6 Welcome to Bloxburg Life sim 28,748 12 88.5% Minimal
7 Bee Swarm Simulator Idle progression 27,170 6 95.6% Minimal
8 Grow a Garden Farming idle 15,230 4 89.9% Minimal
9 My Movie Creative tool 9,000 50 93.7% Minimal
10 Restaurant Tycoon 3 Tycoon 8,751 6 95.3% Minimal
11 Lumber Tycoon 2 Sandbox building 6,603 6 87.7% Minimal
12 Theme Park Tycoon 2 Park builder 3,664 6 89.0% Minimal

Eleven of the twelve are rated Minimal, the lowest maturity label Roblox issues, and DOORS is the single exception at Mild. That is not a coincidence: games built for one person tend to have less chat, less conflict and less to moderate, which makes this the safest category on the platform to leave a younger player with.

1. Fish It! (Collection grind): 75,343 playing

Fish It thumbnail showing a cartoon angler landing a glowing fish
Image: Roblox

Players right now: 75,343 · Lifetime visits: 4.77 billion · Likes: 82.8% · Players per server: 20 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2024-10-21 · Creator: Fish Atelier

You cast, you catch, you fill a collection the developers put at more than a million variations. There is no story and no endgame, which is exactly the point: a session can be four minutes or four hours and neither feels wrong. Events and islands are added constantly, with boss battles and a limited island running at the time of writing.

Twenty players share a server but none of them affect your fishing. 4.77 billion visits in two years. The 82.8% rating from 1.62 million votes is the lowest in this twelve, and the usual complaint is the pace of limited-time events, which is a fair objection to a game built on collecting. Fish It codes are the free way to keep up.

2. Fisch (Fishing RPG): 63,884 playing

Players right now: 63,884 · Lifetime visits: 4.99 billion · Likes: 90.8% · Players per server: 20 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2024-03-13 · Creator: Fisching

The other fishing game and the better built one. Its own page frames it as exploration first: a growing world you move through with a rod, catching fish that have more than 400,000 possible variations. Progression is yours to pace, and the map rewards going somewhere new rather than grinding one spot.

90.8% from 3.35 million votes against Fish It’s 82.8% from 1.62 million, which is a clear verdict from a larger sample. 4.99 billion visits, twenty per server. If you only try one fishing game, this is the one. Fisch codes are posted on a regular schedule.

3. DOORS (Horror run): 58,627 playing

Players right now: 58,627 · Lifetime visits: 7.85 billion · Likes: 93.0% · Players per server: 50 · Maturity: Mild · Released: 2021-03-14 · Creator: LSPLASH

A horror game that works better alone than with anyone else, because its entities are identified by sound and a second player talking over them is the main way people die. The developers recommend going in without a guide and treating each death as a lesson, which is the right advice.

Fifty players can share a server but the run is yours. 7.85 billion visits since March 2021 and a 93.0% rating from 5.08 million votes. Headphones are not optional. It is the only genuinely frightening game in this twelve and the only one rated above Minimal.

4. Tower of Hell (Obby): 46,887 playing

Players right now: 46,887 · Lifetime visits: 29.10 billion · Likes: 73.6% · Players per server: 20 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2018-06-18 · Creator: YXceptional Studios

A randomly generated obstacle course with no checkpoints at all, which is the single design decision the whole game rests on. Fall at the top and you start at the bottom. Rounds are timed, the tower changes every round, and nobody can help you.

At 29.10 billion visits it is the most visited game in this list and one of the most visited on the platform. It also carries a 73.6% rating from 5.93 million votes, far the lowest here. Both facts come from the same place: no checkpoints is a brilliant hook and an infuriating experience, and people vote while annoyed.

5. Sol’s RNG (Luck grind): 32,753 playing

Players right now: 32,753 · Lifetime visits: 2.22 billion · Likes: 91.4% · Players per server: 20 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2023-12-03 · Creator: Sol’s Studio

Pure solo by design. You press roll, you get an aura, and the rare ones take hours. There are more than 400 auras, gear you craft from what you have collected, and potions that improve your odds. Nothing in it needs another person and no other player can touch what you have collected.

2.22 billion visits and a 91.4% rating from 1.56 million votes. Twenty per server, though the servers are effectively parallel solo games. Its codes are named after patch dates, so a stale list is obvious on sight; current Sol’s RNG codes are mostly luck potions.

6. Welcome to Bloxburg (Life sim): 28,748 playing

Players right now: 28,748 · Lifetime visits: 10.12 billion · Likes: 88.5% · Players per server: 12 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2014-11-04 · Creator: Bloxburg Development

The closest thing Roblox has to a life simulator, and the oldest game on this list at nearly twelve years. You build and decorate a house, take a job, earn money and furnish the result. The roleplay layer needs other people, but the building and the jobs do not, and most of the hours go into the building.

It charged 25 Robux to enter for most of its life and was the most visited paid game on the platform before that changed. It is free now. 10.12 billion visits, twelve players per server and an 88.5% rating from 6.37 million votes.

7. Bee Swarm Simulator (Idle progression): 27,170 playing

Players right now: 27,170 · Lifetime visits: 4.60 billion · Likes: 95.6% · Players per server: 6 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2018-03-21 · Creator: Onett

You grow a swarm, collect pollen, make honey, and the hive gets you further up the mountain. Bears give quests, bugs block progress, and the whole thing is a progression curve with no competitive element anywhere in it.

Six players per server, the smallest capacity here alongside the tycoons, and 4.60 billion visits since 2018. The 95.6% rating from 3.17 million votes is the second best in this twelve on a large sample, which for an eight year old game is remarkable. Bee Swarm Simulator codes are still being issued.

8. Grow a Garden (Farming idle): 15,230 playing

Players right now: 15,230 · Lifetime visits: 35.96 billion · Likes: 89.9% · Players per server: 4 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2025-03-25 · Creator: The Garden Game

Buy seeds when the shop restocks, plant them, wait, collect the profit. That is the whole loop and it has taken 35.96 billion visits in eighteen months, which makes it one of the fastest growing games the platform has ever had.

It also holds 10.49 million votes, the largest count of any game in this article, at 89.9%. Four players per server is the smallest capacity on this list. The waiting is real: this is a game you check on rather than play, which suits some people exactly and bores others within ten minutes. Grow a Garden codes cover seeds and sheckles.

9. My Movie (Creative tool): 9,000 playing

Players right now: 9,000 · Lifetime visits: 598 million · Likes: 93.7% · Players per server: 50 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2023-05-30 · Creator: Good Ape

A film making tool rather than a game. You build scenes, shoot them, and the result goes into a stream other players watch. Its description cites Dwarf Fortress as the inspiration and calls it a game for nerds, which is a fair warning about the depth of the editor.

598 million visits and a 93.7% rating from 556,864 votes. Fifty per server, because the watching half is social even when the making half is not. It is the only entry here where what you produce outlasts the session, and the one most likely to take an evening without you noticing.

10. Restaurant Tycoon 3 (Tycoon): 8,751 playing

Players right now: 8,751 · Lifetime visits: 376 million · Likes: 95.3% · Players per server: 6 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2025-01-16 · Creator: Ultraw

Serve customers, cook the dishes, spend the profit on a bigger restaurant. The developers put the key detail in the description: the restaurant earns while you are offline, which is what separates a tycoon from a job.

Six players per server, 376 million visits in under two years and a 95.3% rating from 411,927 votes. The third game in a long running series and the most polished tycoon on this list. Restaurant Tycoon 3 codes are issued at follower milestones.

11. Lumber Tycoon 2 (Sandbox building): 6,603 playing

Players right now: 6,603 · Lifetime visits: 1.33 billion · Likes: 87.7% · Players per server: 6 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2009-07-30 · Creator: Defaultio

Published in July 2009 and still holding six and a half thousand players. You fell trees, mill the wood, sell it and build whatever you want with the rest. There are no quests and no guidance beyond a changelog in the menu.

1.33 billion visits and an 87.7% rating from 2.32 million votes. Six per server. Seventeen years on it remains the purest sandbox on Roblox, and the reason people still open it is that nothing has replaced the specific pleasure of a wood economy you run entirely by yourself.

12. Theme Park Tycoon 2 (Park builder): 3,664 playing

Players right now: 3,664 · Lifetime visits: 1.62 billion · Likes: 89.0% · Players per server: 6 · Maturity: Minimal · Released: 2012-01-02 · Creator: Den_S

Your own plot of land, hundreds of scenery pieces and a roller coaster editor good enough that people build in it for years. The description mentions friends, and building together works, but a park is a single-person project in practice and the plot is yours.

Published in January 2012, so it is the second oldest game here. 1.62 billion visits and an 89.0% rating from 2.34 million votes, with six players per server. The coaster editor is the draw and the reason it has outlasted every imitation.

Five more that work solo

These did not make the twelve on live players and all five still play fine with nobody else there.

  • Elemental Powers Tycoon, by Giggle Inc, 1.30 billion visits, 88.9% likes. A tycoon where you pick an element and build a base around it, older and simpler than Restaurant Tycoon 3.
  • Retail Tycoon 2, by Secondhand Studios, 339 million visits, 88.4% likes. The shop management version, where stocking shelves and setting prices is the whole game.
  • Car Crushers 2 Physics Simulation, by Car Crushers Community, 1.37 billion visits, 93.5% likes. A physics sandbox about destroying vehicles in increasingly elaborate ways, with no opponent anywhere.
  • Break In (Story), by Cracky4, 3.02 billion visits, 90.0% likes. A story game with a beginning and an end, which almost nothing else on this list has.
  • Break In 2 (Story), by Cracky4, 1.04 billion visits, 86.0% likes. The sequel to the above, longer and with more branching.

Which one to open first

Solo games fail by boring you rather than by beating you, so pick by how much time you have.

  • If you have ten minutes. Tower of Hell. A round is short and there is nothing to set up.
  • If you want something to come back to. Bee Swarm Simulator or Sol’s RNG, both built on long curves.
  • If you want to build. Theme Park Tycoon 2 for structure, Lumber Tycoon 2 for freedom.
  • If you want to be scared. DOORS, and genuinely better alone than with a friend.
  • If you want to make something. My Movie. The only entry here that leaves anything behind.
  • If you want to do almost nothing. Grow a Garden. Plant, close the tab, come back later.

Worth knowing about My Movie specifically: it names Dwarf Fortress as its inspiration, and the comparison is not a joke. The editor is deep enough to be frustrating for the first hour and the reason people stay for a year.

What makes a Roblox game actually work solo

A game can be listed as single player friendly and still fall apart without a group. Three things separate the ones that hold up.

  • No shared objective. If progress needs a second person on a button, solo play is a demo. Everything in this twelve completes alone.
  • Offline or interruptible progress. Restaurant Tycoon 3 and Grow a Garden both keep earning while you are away, which makes a short session worth starting.
  • No competitive pressure. Nothing here lets another player take what you built. That is the main difference from the combat games on the platform, where the other players are the entire point.

This is also why the genre ages well. Five of these twelve are more than eight years old and two predate 2013, which is rare on a platform where most hits last a season. A single player design has nothing to balance and no population to maintain, so it keeps working long after the crowd moves on.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best Roblox game to play alone?

Fisch, for most people. It has a large world to move through, progression you control, and a 90.8% rating from 3.35 million votes. Bee Swarm Simulator is the better pick if you want something to return to over months rather than explore in one sitting.

Can you play Roblox without other players?

Not in a literal sense, since experiences run on shared servers, but in many games the other players cannot affect you. Private servers, which most games sell for Robux, give you a server to yourself if you want genuine solitude.

Which Roblox solo game has the best rating?

Bee Swarm Simulator at 95.6% from 3.17 million votes, which is the strongest rating here on a large sample. Restaurant Tycoon 3 rates 95.3% on a much smaller one.

Are these Roblox games free?

All twelve are free to enter. Welcome to Bloxburg is the notable one: it charged 25 Robux for entry for most of its life and no longer does. The rest sell boosts, cosmetics and private servers.
