Prospecting! is a slow and satisfying gold-panning game. You dig a shovel of dirt, wade into the river, shake the pan and watch for flecks of gold or a rare gem, then sell the haul and buy a better pan for the next area.

Better gear costs Cash, and the rarest finds need Luck. Prospecting codes pay Cash, Meteor Shards and timed Luck boosts, and this page lists every code that currently works.

All Working Prospecting Codes

• oneyear: $50,000, 400 Meteor Shards, 2x Luck and a 1.5x Sell Boost for 2 hours
• rebuild: $20,000, 200 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 1 hour
• starfall: $20,000, 200 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 1 hour
• delay: 250 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 3 hours
• stuff: Cash, 200 Meteor Shards and 2x Luck for 30 minutes

Each boost lasts the time shown beside it, so claim the Luck codes when you are ready for a long panning session.

Expired Prospecting Codes

These codes have been switched off. The holiday and update codes in this list each lasted a few weeks before the next one replaced them.

How to Redeem Prospecting Codes

1. Open Prospecting! from the Roblox app and finish the tutorial first.
2. Press the gear icon labelled Settings at the top of the screen.
3. Type the code into the Enter Code box at the top of the Settings page.
4. Press the blue Claim button. Cash and Shards land at once, and boosts start counting down.

Every Prospecting code is written in lower case. Type it exactly as listed, since a stray capital or space is the most common reason a live code fails.

What Meteor Shards and Luck Boosts Do

Meteor Shards are the rare currency. They buy extra ring slots, up to four more, and stock from the Shard Merchant. Outside of codes they drop rarely while panning, more often during Meteor Showers, and from quests.

A 2x Luck boost raises the odds of rare minerals on every pan while it runs, and a Sell Boost raises what your finds sell for. Both are worth most in the later areas, where single finds are worth more.
